Web Analyst - The Company

The Web Analytics team is part of the Audience department which is tasked with providing insight, analysis and data reporting across their business. The functions of the department include commercial planning, brand planning, primary research, CRM and web analytics. The Web Analysts focus on enabling the translation of web analytics data into actionable insights to drive product development and decision-making around the organisation.

Web Analyst - The Role

The main aim of the role is to provide web analytics insight to internal clients within the organisation, including commercial and business to business areas. This will involve deep dive data analysis; user journey analysis; A/B test input and reporting; detailed behavioural impact analysis; conversion analysis, sales/performance reporting, dashboard creation and ad hoc response to data requirements.

*Develop a deep understanding of the analytics and reporting requirements of key business areas and tailor reports and analysis to specified objectives.

*Manage and respond to day to day ad hoc web analytics requests

*Work with the Web Analytics Manager to design, review and develop a suite of tailored dashboards and regular reports to inform site performance, marketing activity, conversion performance and the product development process.

*Work with the Web Analytics Manager and Research Manager (as appropriate) to conduct and report on click-stream analysis, search analysis, AB /multivariate testing, gap analysis, ROI analysis and survey data integration.

Web Analytics - Key Skills

*Web analytics experience, preferably with Adobe SiteCatalyst, Adobe Discover/ Adobe Insight

*Experience of designing and managing A/B and Multivariate tests A passion for consumer insight

*Experience of using web measurement tools (Hitwise, ComScore, Nielsen NetView etc.)

*Understanding of web site design and information architecture

*Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

*Advanced Excel skills SEO, content optimisation, web site development experience an advantage.

*An understanding of business to business reporting requirements
