    Our client is an international organisation specialising in market intelligence and media services. They specialise in servicing the financial and asset management sectors and provide integrated solutions across media, intelligence and research.  They have presence in the key global financial markets and they have established a strong foot hold in the Asia Pacific region. Due to demand of global clients based in the region as well as product growth, they are looking for a Advertising Sales Manager to grow and manage their key publication.

    The Advertising Sales Manager will report directly into the Managing Director. They will be responsible for selling in advertising and sponsorship solutions for the magazine and the corresponding website. They will sell to clients regionally via phone and face to face. The clients, mainly in financial services, will consist of existing and new clients, therefore the Advertising Sales Manager will utilise both account management skills to encourage repeat business and new business development to prospect new accounts and grow new revenue streams. The Advertising Sales Manager will work closely with the International Sales Director and Managing Director to devise a sales strategy and report back regular sales forecasts. They will also gain a strong understanding of the market landscape and client’s business objectives in order to develop strong and successful sales proposals for client.

    The successful candidate will be degree qualified with at least 3 years of direct experience in B2B advertising or sponsorship sales. Experience in financial media would be desirable. The candidate should have demonstrated experience in exceeding sales targets. In addition they can show they have developed strong experience with key accounts as well as developed new clients in order to grow revenue. The successful candidate will have strong organisational and time management skills; they can independently develop a pipeline and can understand the business objectives of clients in order to provide a solution sales approach.  Furthermore they can work well in a team environment to utilise contacts and knowledge of the sales, marketing and editorial teams. The candidate must have native level of English and Asian language skills are desirable. Frequent travel required for this role.
