Jubilee Sailing Trust ia a registered charity that owns and operates the only two tall ships in the world designed and built to enable people of all physical abilities to sail side by side as equals.  Reporting to the Commercial Manager, the objectives of this role are:

  • To maximise ship occupancy and voyage income
  • To be responsible for all customer acquisition and retention marketing
  • To maximise the ROI of all marketing investments/activities and make business cases for all activities
  • To manage all integrated sales channels, digital , direct mail, DR press, affinity marketing and phone (inbound scripts), media management, press releases and social media

The postholder will have experience in a similar role within the commercial sector with budget responsibility of at least £300k and revenue responsibilities of at least £5m.  Requirements for the role also include excellent communication skills, a high level of initiative and a great willingness to learn.  The role should be 80% passage focused, 20% fundraising although this might change over the next two yeas as the fundraising income and marketing budget increases.
