Our client is an expanding research-led Brand Strategy Consultancy in central London. Their work delivers outstanding Brand Strategy projects for a varied international client-list (recently they have worked with FMCG, Media and Service Industry clients). They operate a Qualitative-research led methodology, which centres on an acute understanding of brands’ connections with their consumers. This incorporates the solution of brand and communications problems for their clients. They are looking to augment their team at an experienced consultant level, taking on an individual who will be capable of running their own projects, offering excellent insight and strategy solutions to complex client problems.

As a Brand Strategy consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are undertaken in a timely manner, as well as ensuring that the quality of your work and of the overall project remains at the agency’s excellent standards. Your work will retain a focus on the consumer, deriving Insights from an acute understanding of consumer behaviour. Our client is looking at individuals from a Qualitative Research agency background, or alternatively a strategically-minded Planner from an advertising agency with some experience of consumer strategy. They need someone with strong academic skills, and a person who is entirely comfortable with presenting directly to clients.

Key requirements for this position:

  • Substantial experience within the marketing space, agency-side. This can either be with an Insight-led brand strategy consultancy, or a Planning role in an advertising agency with some exposure to consumer research.
  • A strategic outlook and an understanding of the interaction between Brands and Consumers.
  • A strong academic record, with a 2:1 degree or above from a respected university.

    This role would be perfect for a frustrated Brand Strategist within a larger organisation who is seeking to take greater project leadership and to stamp their mark on high quality output in a sociable and growing agency.
