Account Director – Excellent London Agency – to £45k

One of the leading marketing agencies in the UK, who specialise in activating brands for clients, seek a talented Account Director to work on a legendary brand.

The agency are part of a global agency network and comprise over 150 staff and they have a unique capability to deliver fully integrated solutions under one roof: branding and design, advertising, direct marketing, CRM, interactive, data/analytics, promotional and shopper marketing.

Account Director - Job Summary

The key role of the Account Director is to ensure the successful development and implementation of client campaigns, through effective, profitable team-work.

The Account Director role requires an ability to effectively manage a team, provide valuable input into the strategic and creative development of client accounts and identify and progress new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.

The Account Director will be responsible for running and delivering world-class digital and direct based projects for this ‘front-runner’ telecommunications client.

The Account Director will be charged with the development and growth of client business within the offline DM and digital space – looking after relationships, commercial management and profitability, creative standards and strategic direction and initiatives.

Partnering with Project Management, the Account Director is also responsible for ensuring ensure flawless delivery, on-time, on-budget and monthly financial reconciliation.

Key projects cover DM and e-CRM campaigns.

Account Director - Knowledge & Skills Required

·         Proven experience at an Account Director level in a similar environment.

·         Passion and ideally knowledge of the telecommunications sector.

·         Understanding of brand growth strategies, i.e. acquisition and retention.

·         Experience of developing an account and growing the business.

·         Ability to think beyond execution and to offer solutions rather than problems.

·         Ability to remain calm under pressure whilst managing multiple projects.

·         Excellent communication skills – understands the importance attached to positive client relationships and demonstrates an engaging an open style of communication.

·         Experience and success establishing and maintaining effective working relations with internal and external stakeholders.

·         Excellent organisational skills

·         Previous experience in managing a small team is desirable.
