Senior Social Media Marketing Manager

London – Camden Town

£45,000- £55,000

negotiable depending on experience

Are you an ambitious social media guru who will help establish their business as a market leader in terms of how they use social media to build meaningful relationships with customers

 Our client has already made a great start in using social media to help create a relationship with their brand, retaining customers and driving sales. They have an extensive online community of over 140,000 and are the highest ranked brand in their sector. Can you help drive their ambitious strategy to place social media at the heart of their business, turning it into both a serious retention and acquisition tool 

You will be expected to have an in depth knowledge of how to build successful communities on Facebook and Twitter, have understanding of why and how campaigns you have created have gone viral and have a proven track record of making social media advertising work for businesses.

The person:

  • Minimum of 3 years marketing experience with a minimum of 2 years in social media with previous experience of developing a holistic social media strategy that meets multiple business requirements.
  • Strong track record in driving Facebook fan acquisition and customer sales through engaging promotions, apps and daily posting strategies. Creating viral loops, Commercial apps, Face Book advertising.
  • Success in engaging Twitter users and followers with a solid working knowledge of YouTube, Google+, Pinterest, Instagram, Flickr and other common social media platforms.
  • Familiar with and expert at optimising key social media KPIs such as reach, sharing, interactions.
  • Direct experience of using social plug ins, Facebook Connect, Developing open graph api applications and working with both internal developers/designers and external agencies to create FB apps.
  • Excellent written skills with direct experience in writing concise and pithy marketing copy for Facebook posts, tweets, blogs, forums and emails.
  • Experience of data analysis and interpretation.
