Head of Social Media
Our client an award winning creative agency based in central London are currently looking to hire a Head of Social Media
This is a challenging and fast-paced role that requires someone who can manage a team of consultants and own tactical delivery for the agency’s key accounts in line with client and project objectives.
The successful candidate will have a broad digital skill set covering everything from
Search Display Web and app development Social media You will need passion and a track record in providing strategic social media advice to clients.
Key requirements of the role include:
Develop multi-channel social strategy for key accounts
Manage senior relationships and oversee day-to-day relationships with the client Responsibility for overall delivery against SLAs and SOWs (statement of work)
Manage and inspire a team of consultants, junior consultants and trainee consultants to deliver effective results for clients.
Develop career plans and handle reviews for junior staff
Support the managing director in managing resource allocation and revenue forecasting
Lead a team to respond to new business pitches Organise regular agency knowledge-share sessions
Ensure regular reviews and feedback are gathered from clients to optimise client delivery Candidates must have:
University Degree (or international equivalent).
6+ years of digital experience
4+ years of management experience
Agency experience essential
Experience of providing high-level social media strategy (not just campaign strategy) Comprehensive understanding of the role of social in the wider digital marketing mix Understanding of client side analytics packages highly desirable such as GA or Omniture Ability to work independently and to lead a team
Fluent written and spoken English
Highly presentable and a very confident presenter
Track record of delivering results for clients
