The role
Above all, you will promote and protect the brand and reputation globally, so that the appeal of the company and proposition is maintained and developed.

What will you do?

*Lead the delivery of marketing communications strategic advice, support and project delivery worldwide

*Draw upon extensive experience of marketing communications tools to recommend highly targeted campaigns that deliver on pre-defined business objectives

*Manage and oversee an expert team offering the highest levels of customer service to internal stakeholders and their audiences

*Assume responsibility for the selection, management and review of external agencies and suppliers, ensuring a good balance between quality and value for money

*Take responsibility for the Marketing Communications strategy and budget, and also the individual project budgets as devolved by project commissioners across the organisation.

Brand Development/Engagement

*Work with different teams within the business on initiatives to improve all aspects of the brand experience (communications, environment, customer experience and behaviour/culture) for all audiences.

*Assist international offices and associated businesses to bring the brand to life through their environment and communications.

Trademark and domain protection

*Implement and oversee the brand protection policy.

*Liaise with IT, Legal, International Compliance and international offices on brand protection issues including domain name management and monitoring of abuse.

Team leadership and management

*Lead and develop a team, ensuring proper prioritisation and high quality delivery.

*Promote a culture of expertise, constructive challenge and constant development.

*Be an active member of the Corporate Communications leadership team.

What you'll need
*A proven track record across the marketing mix, including evaluation.
*Confidence and ability to work autonomously, while also being a good team player.

*Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.

*Strong presentation skills, comfortable with offering senior counsel to executives.

*A thorough understanding of brand theory and its application.

*Ability to think creatively and strategically, analyse, problem solve and clearly articulate concepts and solutions with a strong eye for detail.

*Capability to rapidly assimilate information and be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

*Experience of managing internal or external client relationships or business development in a business to business environment.

*Strong leadership and people management experience, including running virtual teams.
