Senior Account Manager – Fabulous Integrated Agency – Central London – to £37k + great benefits

Well-respected, privately owned central London agency with an excellent blue-chip client base seeks a heavy-weight Senior Account Manager to join a vibrant team and take ownership of this fully integrated account.


Senior Account Manager - The Account

The agency was appointed earlier this year to manage this Client’s acquisition and retention activity including the development of both on and off-line communications. 

Taking a newly developed brand strategy, the agency has been tasked with developing targeted communications to existing and prospect clients – both b2c and b2b.

Truly integrated, the role involves full website copy development plus an extensive suite of collateral, plus on and off-line communications to support their acquisition, CRM and fundraising campaigns.

The Senior Account Manager will need to work collaboratively with other established agencies employed by the Client (eg web build agency) – a combined effort to produce effective and engaging work.  Relationship management of numerous Client stakeholders is also key to the Senior Account Manager position and the agency’s continued success.


Senior Account Manager – The Role

·         This Senior Account Manager reports directly into the Senior Account Director, and works closely with the Digital team and lead Planner for this account. They will also have Account Executive support.

·         The Senior Account Director manages a portfolio of accounts, so a confident Senior Account Manager is required to take ownership of the account and the Client relationships.

·         The main focus of the role will be to manage a number of high profile campaigns including development of all content for a new website, a fundraising campaign and a highly PRable creative competition.

·         The website project will involve briefing in and driving through a high volume of content – therefore this is a significant project on the account with a strong need for absolute process and quality control.

·         The successful Senior Account Manager will actively manage Client relationships up to Head of Marketing and Head of CRM level. 

·         They will lead on all stages of campaigns and projects from taking the initial Client brief, to writing creative briefs, right through to  presenting to Clients at all times managing the changing landscape of campaign-work.

·         Most importantly, this role requires a calm and confident Senior Account Manager to manage a large volume of projects involving multiple sets of amends and work streams.

·         This role offers the opportunity to move up to Account Director Level within a 6-month period for the right candidate. 


Senior Account Manager – The Person

The agency is looking for a confident, strong Senior Account Manager with 3 to 4 years’ in client services and who is completely fluent with creative development & process in an agency environment.    

Given the nature of the work, the Senior Account Manager must have strong experience of high volume, fast paced, high workload accounts such as retail, telecoms, IT.

The Senior Account Manager will need an exacting eye for detail plus a proven track record of delivering integrated projects on time and within budget especially as there is no Project Management function in house.

The Senior Account Manager will be calm under pressure, a natural team player and confident/ articulate enough to manage relationships with day to day Clients.

Given the range of Client stakeholders, the ability to handle multiple streams of feedback and Client relationships, calmly and diplomatically, is essential.

Finally, the Senior Account Manager will need fully integrated experience, both on and off-line as these campaigns will be deployed across multiple channels.


Senior Account Manager – The Package 

The salary is dependent on experience and up to a maximum £37k. It’s an attractive package including health and gym membership (next door) after 3 months.
