As Head of Global Marketing you will be responsible for developing and implementing consistent Marketing, Communications, Product Management and Business/Competitor Intelligence strategies and policies on a global basis.

The Role:
*Assist with the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to the Executive Team to form part of the consolidated AOP that will be presented to the Board.
*Lead the implementation and development of the global Marketing, Product Management, Communications and Business/Competitor Intelligence strategies, and their periodic review and update, for both the branded and original equipment manufacturing (OEM) businesses.
*Introduce performance measures against the AOP to monitor the effectiveness of the global Marketing, Product Management and Communications strategies.
*Provide feedback to the Sales & Marketing Director to ensure continual achievement and development.
*To identify, develop and nurture new business opportunities through product management, product proposals and introductions as well as business licensing and acquisitions.
*Prepare and present monthly and quarterly marketing business reviews for the Sales & Marketing Director.
*Strategic (not line management) oversight of the Marketing teams in all subsidiaries as well as the OEM and international non-group (ING) business areas.
*Demonstrating strong leadership skills across the business including motivating, coaching and developing Marketing teams, annual appraisals and the setting clear objectives.
*Ensure that Marketing is resourced correctly with the appropriate level of skills and competencies.
*Ensure a culture of continuous improvement, quality and compliance is embraced by all associates across the global Marketing teams.
*Work closely with all functions in company to deliver business objectives and strategies.

About you:
*A strong marketing management/leadership experience gained from within the national and international medical device/disposables sectors.
*Emphasis will be placed on the ability to lead within a growing international commercial business, with evidence of new business development, product development and launches, communications and strategic marketing success.
*Senior level Marketing experience gained in international medical device/disposables companies.
*Experience of working in Global Pharma and/or OEM environments strongly preferred.
*Experience gained in a global blue-chip, coupled ideally with smaller company (SME) experience.
*Demonstrable success at managing high growth businesses and in product/market strategic segmentation.
*Candidates will possess authority and presence with tenacity and maturity.
*Ability to interface successfully at the highest level with global customers.
*Team leadership qualities will be strong, together with the ability to fit in with the Company's success-driven style.
*Candidates will be able to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
*Business related degree or equivalent.

The Package:
Salary - £60-70,000
Bonus - up to 20% annually
Benefits - 6K Car
Location - Oxfordshire
