This role is highly customer-centric. The primary objective is to deliver engaging customer messages, drive covers through tactical activity and deliver a brand identity that is consistent and on brand. Another key area is the customer journey for all promotional, partner and CRM activity.

The position reports directly to the Head of Communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the evolution of the Zizzi digital presence through the optimisation of website, mobile site and e-mail marketing
  • Coordinate the Zizzi database marketing programme (fortnightly e-mails)
  • Manage CRM programme and improve performance
  • Oversee local marketing programme & trial new initiatives
  • Manage production of marketing collateral including print management portal
  • Own the customer journey for all promotional activity (offers, vouchers, set menus)
  • Deliver a social media strategy to increase engagement and brand advocacy
  • Identify new brand partnerships for collaborative activity to drive both brand exposure and sales
  • Deliver exceptional brand communications across all marketing channels
  • Day to day management of external agencies (digital, CRM, creative)
  • Lead the development of the loyalty programme and personalisation of email contacts
  • Create and capture competitor and market insights
  • Work with key stakeholders in the business to deliver effective tactical sales driving initiatives
  • Lead internal communication/engagement around key marketing activity (eg. Operations teams)
  • Deliver a social media strategy to increase engagement and brand advocacy
  • Project management (including budget and pricing) for all calendar campaigns and menus
  • Line management of Marketing Assistant
  • Ownership of Marketing team budget (administration, tracking invoices, liaison with finance)

Skills Required

  • A strategic thinker with a creative flair
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role
  • Able to commercially analyse the impact of marketing activity
  • Strong interpersonal skills – impact & influence
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills
  • Great presentation skills
  • Experience of developing new initiatives
  • Ability to work collaboratively across different functions including Operations
  • Service brand and/or restaurant experience desirable
  • Marketing degree educated or equivalent
