· Proven experience building websites/web applications

· Proven experience building custom CMS's/website management systems

· MVC (MVC 2, 3, 4 or even Monorail)

· 3+ years proven commercial development experience using the .NET framework


· TDD (Test Driven Development)

· SQL Server 2005/2008 knowledge

Key Skills

· 2:1 or better in Computer Science, Software Design, Programming or similar degree

· .NET 3.5+

· Windows Server 2003/2008 experience

· Javascript & js libraries (e.g. jQuery)

· Webforms development



· Visual Studio 2008 & 2010

· Strong use of OOP

· Experience integrating with third party systems


Umbraco knowledge

Additonal extras welcomed:
· SEO knowledge

· Webservices (WSDL)

· NHibernate

· Continuous integration & build server configuration

Key responsibilities:

Deliver highly functionality publicly visible websites, on-time, on-budget.
Write clean, well-documented and re-usable code.
Work with the development team to spread knowledge and develop resources.
Work with our project managers to develop a delivery schedule for projects.
Day to day contact with clients, account managers, project managers and our design team.
Liaise with clients to understand their goals and translate them into requirements.
Provide quotes for new work.
Assist with pitch work.

Based in our Leeds office, the successful candidate will be helping to shape the future of our client's web presence and on-line strategies and so must be able to demonstrate experience of the successful delivery of web development projects.

£33,000 - £37,000
