Brand Manager – Drinks Manufacturer / Hampshire, South-East UK / £40k to £45k + Substantial Bonus

Our client is a leading manufacturer of alcoholic spirits. They operate on a global scale, and are headquartered in the UK. They have a number of well-known brands within their categories (e.g. whisky, gin, rum). This role will involve implementing the Global marketing strategy for one of our client’s flagship brands within the UK market, therefore they are particularly interested in individuals with experience of adapting global strategies to local markets. This role is based in Hampshire, and is at a commutable distance from London Waterloo.

The person that our client is looking for will have had experience working with FMCG brands (ideally in the alcoholic drinks sector), and may also have worked on similar brands from the agency side. The team is hard-working and the environment is fast-paced, so applicants must be able to work independently. You will have excellent stakeholder management skills, enabling you to contribute thoughtfully to the brand’s UK strategy. This organisation sets great stock in developing individuals’ skills and careers, so there will be attractive progression opportunities within the business.

Key competencies required for the role:

·         3+ years experience of brand management within the FMCG sector (especially Alcoholic Drinks).

·         A strong understanding of brand strategy-setting and local market activation.

·         A commercial mindset, with experience of working to set P&Ls and financial metrics.

·         Education to degree level, ideally with a Marketing-related qualification.
