Our client, the UK division of a world leading organisation with 6000 employees across 39 countries are looking for a CRM and Data Manager.

The primary focus of this role is to ensure data and insight is used effectively to maximise sales and marketing performance and continually seek ways to improve the impact has across the business.

Main Duties:

- Identify target data for specific marketing campaigns - this will require an ability to interrogate existing databases as well as reviewing external data sources
- Undertake analysis and provide performance reports & insights across the demand generation (sales & marketing) activities to include:
- Campaign effectiveness & performance (inc email, SEO, PPC, Display)
- Conversions through the sales process (inc ROI & recommendations for future areas of marketing spend)
- Development of a marketing automation platform and evaluation of marketing programmes planned and managed through it
- Monitor & report on data quality contained within the databases and implement actions to improve. This will include initiating data cleaning & optimisation programmes
- Make recommendations for actions that will further improve the influence & impact that information & insight has on sales, marketing and wider commercial activities
- Undertake market & database analysis to provide performance information and insight:
- Market share performance
• Segmentation analysis
- Customer satisfaction
- Customer portfolio performance & product usage
- Customer & prospect profiling
- Retention & attrition analysis
- To work with the Marketing Management team to ensure that marketing campaigns across both B2B & B2E audiences are turned into effective operational delivery; including additional briefing and training for team members as required

Person Specification:
- This person will be highly analytical, but with the ability to operate with a commercial perspective; appreciating the importance of using data & insight to drive action and change
- This skill set needs to be complimented by equally strong communication skills to ensure any insight and data is understood by other teams and individuals across the wider sales and marketing teams and business
- It is likely this person will be experienced in the use of analytical packages and will have had some exposure to web analytics packages
- This person will be experienced in working with CRM platforms. Experience of Pivotal CRM would be a real plus, as too would be exposure to marketing automation platforms and social media monitoring tools
