Account Manager [Car Account] - Stunning London Agency – to £30k

Superb central London agency seeks an Account Manager who has a passion for cars to work on one of one of the finest automotive brands around.

Reason for recruiting an Account Manager

The agency are looking for an Account Manager as a result of someone emigrating and a reorganization/bringing together of 3 account teams to be able to better share knowledge, capabilities and experience.

The role is currently 100% on this car account team, providing a well-rounded breadth of work, including Direct, Digital, Data and CRM.  However, there will be flexibility longer term to gain exposure to other accounts.

Reporting and context of the Account Manager Role

The Account Manager position reports directly to an Account Director and works within a wider account team which all report into a Board Account Director.

Main responsibilities of the Account Manager Role

The role will suit an Account Manager looking for a new and exciting challenge working on a global car brand. The Account Manager will have proven direct and digital marketing experience and enjoy working in a high paced and energetic environment.

An avid interest in cars is essential as is a desire to work on a data led account. Confident and gregarious, the Account Manager must be comfortable building strong client relationships and playing an active role in interagency meetings.

The Account Manager Role

·         To manage direct, digital and integrated campaigns

·         Build excellent working relationships with client-side counterparts

·         Liaise with all internal departments including Client Service, Creative, Data, Digital production as well as key stakeholders within the wider integrated agency teams

·         To brief creative, design and production teams.

·         Proactive management of campaigns, not only successfully pushing projects forward and managing timelines but spotting opportunities and planning ahead to avoid pitfalls.

·         Managing client expectations and developing client relationships

·         Results driven

·         Follow internal financial and resource scheduling processes

Experience and personal attributes sought for the Account Manager Role

·         A good grounding in account management is essential (probably a few years)

·         First class communications and presentation skills

·         Evidence of strong project management capabilities

·         A good understanding of direct and digital marketing

·         Good digital production knowledge (i.e. HTML banners/email marketing)

·         Good knowledge of how to run a profitable campaign

·         Automotive experience preferred but not essential

Market rate and dependent on experience [to £30k] + benefits below
