Insight and Planning manager
Mobile platform
to £42k

My client is a mobile media, wallet and loyalty platform. Funded and established by the key mobile network operators in the UK, they quickly establishing a name for themselves within the exciting mobile tech and media world. They are a startup and after people with a passion for startup environments.

Responsible for working with Account Management and Sales teams to provide insight and planning for campaigns using the tools and capabilities provided by the customer analytics team
To work with customers via the sales team to understand and interpret the outcome/response of campaigns and build that learning into the planning of future campaigns and programmes

Interpreting and clarifying briefs within the campaign process
Interpret the results of analytics for the customer/sales teams
Summarising findings and outcomes and making recommendations on the results
Documenting and presenting the outcome of insight and planning
Briefing data analytics and information management team on ad-hoc analytics requirements
Project managing analytics projects between the client teams and the data analytics team
Working with data analytics to develop sets of repeatable analytics processes for Campaign planning and Evaluation
Developing materials and approaches that allow the account management team and sales team to discuss analytics and is value add to the campaign process

Key relationships

within own directorate:
Working closely with the sales & account management team to align sales and operational processes and deliver a seamless service to customer

across other directorates:
Integration with both Wallet Products, and Insights teams to integrate products and function into the campaign cycle - particularly within analytics to enhance planning and reporting

external suppliers:
Management of relationship

external customers:
Service support and management

Must have

Working knowledge and experience of Large consumer databases, with multiple variables and characteristics
5-7 years experience of data interpretation with a media and advertising angle
Experience of working with or developing segmentations, targeting models, response models.
Able to interpret the output of statistical activity such as univariate or multivariate testing and the interpretation of performance charts (e.g. gains charts)
Familiarity with the range of techniques including CHAID, Cluster analysis, regression, Neural networks
Familiar with tools such as SPSS, SAS, KXEN. and Angoss,
Strong background in using visualisation and reporting tools such as cognos, business object, and Microstrategy

Nice to have

Ideally experienced in working in an agency or media planning environment with a broad knowledge of campaign processes across multiple channels, twinned with a solid background in analytics and reporting
