INTERNATIONAL MANAGING DIRECTOR - TOP MEDIA AGENCY
This is a brand new role in the agency due to a recent new business win. You will be responsible for running your client's business across 33 EMEA markets with budgets in the hundreds of millions.
Your role will be to ensure the profitable delivery of the client's media budgets and establish the client as the benchmark network FMCG brand for the digital era by working with the local and specialist teams.
This is an all encompassing role whereby you will lead the agency in developing overarching international strategies, develop extremely close senior client relationships, ensure systems and processes are put in place, develop efficient trading systems, create effective regional clusters and lead an extensive team to ensure they are always motivated and delivering client excellence in all areas.
Assume primary responsibility for securing Trusted Advisor status with your clients, at the most senior level
Immerse yourself in and gain a thorough understanding of your clients' business in order to drive strategy, pre-empt their future needs and develop appropriate new revenue streams which will drive client business
Provide leadership and direction for both central and local client teams to ensure industry leading delivery of integrated client solutions across all work streams from overall annual strategy to individual projects
Profitable management and commercial development of client accounts
Proactively build and nurture excellent, cohesive, integrated client teams at the highest level, taking overall responsibility for client service delivery and resolving strategic operational and team issues with local agency management
Develop a wide-ranging network of senior contacts across the network of companies to help identify and action relevant business development projects
Ensure the most efficient and effective deployment of resources, both centrally and locally, in order to deliver against clients' communications strategies and business goals whilst maintaining or enhancing network profitability across all accounts in the portfolio
You must have these core skills and experience:
Strong account management skills either in a media or full service agency setting;
8+ years in a senior role preferable with a good track record of client satisfaction;
FMCG experience preferred;
Good grasp of communication planning and a solid view of the digital landscape;
Ability to juggle multiple agency, client and team relationships and coordinate a complex piece of business;
Coordination of multiple markets
Must be engaging with ideally a grasp of foreign languages
