One of London’s finest Soho-based agencies requires a Senior Account Manager to work on an exciting holiday-related account in a truly integrated role.

About the Senior Account Manager Role

This is a very exciting role for an enthusiastic Senior Account Manager.

The agency recently won this travel related CRM and Retail account in a competitive pitch, at the same time as their sister agency, picked up the ATL account. The agency have recently been named as their agency of record across Digital, Mobile and Social.

Then account is down to earth, humorous and confident. People say they have some of the most memorable times of their lives when they go on a holiday with this company and the agency’s role is to bring this vision to life in their communications.

It’s an incredible opportunity for a Senior Account Manager to work for a client who isn’t afraid to buy ground-breaking creative work – the potential for winning awards is immense.

The agency’s remit also includes their other travel brands, including Cruises, Worldwide Journeys and Hotels. From high end to great value, from boutique hotels to escorted tours, the role ensures that the Senior Account Manager will be kept busy across a wide variety of different types of travel companies and clients, all with unique communications challenges.

The successful Senior Account Manager would be part of a genuinely integrated Group team, working across all customer channels, including Advertising, CRM, Content, Digital, Mobile, Retail and Social.

This Senior Account Manager position will primarily be focused on CRM, built there will be opportunities to get involved in wide ranging multichannel campaigns – particularly in Mobile, Retail and Social.

It’s a fast paced account, as the travel industry never stands still. There are quick turnaround jobs to take advantage of things like unexpected good weather or travel disasters, and a constantly changing commercial and competitive landscape.

The successful Senior Account Manager will need to be relaxed and calm under pressure, understanding of ever changing requirements, and used to managing client expectations.

The Senior Account Manager will report into an Account Director and also work very closely with a Managing Partner, as well as the wider Group and Community Management team. There are also opportunities to develop the Account Executive and the Graduate Trainee on the account.

Skills & Experience Required for the Senior Account Manager Role

·         6 months - 1 year at Senior Account Manager level

·         Full understanding of integration and would suit a Senior Account Manager who has a bit of knowledge and experience across all areas rather than specialising in one or two fields. 

·         Digital, CRM (DM, EM and SMS/MMS), Social (Facebook, Twitter, Google+ ,Tumblr, Pinterest)

·         Past retail client experience preferred – used to face paced, quick turnaround, ever changing briefs

·         Strong client management skills, able to work independently

·         Capable of running day to day activity of account and confident under pressure

·         Confident presenter with excellent communications skills

·         Can meet deadlines, manage implementation stages of multiple projects and someone who has a passion for attention to detail is essential.

·         Experience with Mobile (Apps and Mobile web development) would be helpful

You are a Senior Account Manager who is also assertive and confident in your dealing with Clients whilst demonstrating understanding of their business needs and objectives.
