ACCOUNT DIRECTOR| INTEGRATED agency | £40-42K | South West London

Full service marketing agency in South West London with easy travel links to and from central London and Clapham Junction are looking for an experienced integrated ACCOUNT DIRECTOR to work across three UK/INTERNATIONAL clients.

It’s an independent agency offering both on and offline marketing expertise across a range of clients. Medium sized, with over 60 employees it’s a fun, relaxed yet highly professional company with a strong work ethic.  The agency delivers effective and memorable campaigns that increase brand value and deliver measurable and profitable results.

Working on one of the agencies biggest clients in the travel sector you will be involved in creating through the line International marketing campaigns and literature. Supported by the Board Account Director you will be working with a Senior Account Manager and lead designer to manage projects from ads to multi-language brochure projects.   

The role will also involve other ad hoc projects as they come up, which will include direct marketing, press ads and general marketing literature.   In addition you will also be working on a classic FMCG account with on-pack promotions and tailor made support. 

We’d like to hear from you if you are:

  • An established integrated Account Director, in a marketing agency including print, direct marketing and sales promotion
  • Polished, confident and organised; self driven, unflappable and an expert juggler!  
  • Pro-active attitude, happy to get hands on to make things happen, taking ultimate ownership and responsibility for project delivery and client satisfaction
  • Able to manage a SAM; knowing when to delegate effectively but know when to get more involved
  • Great at client liaison, ability to quickly establish solid trusting relationships, explain and sell creative work, reassure and communicate effortlessly.
  • Excellent understanding of creative and strategy and a determination to do the best possible job each time
  • Happy to turn a hand to body copy writing when needed (e.g. writing about holiday destinations or health and safety stats).
  • Ability to ‘think’ as well as ‘do’. Be able to spot a potential opportunity and grow relationships with day-today contacts.
  • Experience of working with multiple clients (international if possible but not mandatory)
  • Strong communication skills in all disciplines including written, oral, email and presentation
  • Financially buttoned down; able to provide regular and accurate sales forecasting
  • Warm and confident management skills, able to oversee, motivate and grow our team, and inspire confidence in creative and production depts.
