 Digital Content Manager – Boutique Agency – Clerkenwell - £18-22K

The Agency

A well-established, integrated marketing agency, with strong digital capabilities is looking to hire a Digital Content Manager on a full-time basis.

The agency works with a host of leading blue-chip clients, across a range of industry sectors including energy, retail and technology.

The Role

Working in a team of twelve digital- specialist marketers and reporting into the The Digital Content Manager will assist with projects for the agency’s largest account; a global energy brand. He/she will be working across the client’s American and European business.

The Digital Content Manager will be assisting with campaign rollouts and language/text updates. He/she will be working with the creative studio to ensure that all assets are correctly optimised, whilst providing valuable insight and suggestions for further site enhancements.

Key responsibilities for the Digital Content Manager role will include:

-       Managing existing sites and new site builds across various business sectors (B2B, B2B), using a variety of CMS systems

-       Asset management

-       Localising website material for over fifteen territories

-       Considering SEO impact with all website updates

-       Measuring site analytics (Google Analytics)

The Candidate

The desired candidate for this Digital Content Manager position will be a process-driven, methodical worker with flawless attention to detail.

The agency requires a candidate who has some experience working in a digital marketing environment, however the agency would consider a graduate, as long as the degree is relevant and the candidate has a large portion of the required experience.

The role is best suited to a content manager/editor who has a genuine enthusiasm for digital communications and the web as a whole.

Essential Skills and Experience for the Digital Content Mzanager role include:

-       Experience working with a range of Content Management Systems (preferably Sitecore) and will pick up new, bespoke CMS quickly.

-       Exposure to Google Analytics

-       Knowledge of basic SEO best practices

-       Knowledge of HTML/CSS and Flash implementation (coding not required)

-       A Degree (or equivalent) in related subject
