The successful UK Marketing Manager will take responsibility for UK wide marketing campaigns aimed at both large corporate level and the SME marketplaces. These campaigns will be rolled out on both online and offline channels. Although prior experience in the utilities sector is not essential, a strong B2B background will appeal to my client. The current marketing team (both in the UK and Europe) is highly motivated; the successful UK Marketing manage must be able to match this level of drive.

Key Responsibilities
*Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure that the company is clearly and appropriately visible in the UK market.
*Work with the Communications team to ensure PR plans and messages are rolled out appropriately in the UK and in line with corporate positioning and marketing activity.
*Work with the Customer Experience Manager to ensure the experience our customers have is the best in the UK.
*Represent the needs of the UK market in business meetings, acting as the customers' champion - feeding in requirements for the development of products and services.

Skills and Experience Required

The successful UK Marketing Manager will possess the following:

*A Proven ability to articulate positioning and messages from the perspective of the end client
*Ability to take ownership of - and drive through - change, managing stakeholders' expectations en route
*In-depth knowledge and understanding of B2B marketing techniques and segmentation.
*Ability to think systematically and adhere to processes in order to ensure the effectiveness of any activity can be fully measured
*Ability to work with sales teams and other stakeholder groups to persuade them, if necessary, of the value of new strategies and directions.
*Proven track record of managing external agencies to achieve maximum value
*Experience in a B2B marketing environment, able to demonstrate knowledge of customer and prospect information within a corporate buying structure.
*Experience of integration with customer relationship management systems.
