Media Insight Manager
Working for this global media agency within their Insight team you will work closely with internal communications planners, buyers and wider stakeholders as well as closely with external clients. You will deliver continued insight across various accounts to further heighten their knowledge and planning using both qual and quant methodologies. You will play a key part in identifying, designing, managing and debriefing research and this will see you working with a true variety of clients. There will be huge variety in the briefs you manage and you will therefore have a real depth of experience and knowledge which will serve you well in developing unique solutions tailored to individual client’s needs. You will however remain hands on to the work of the team and will effectively manage and drive insight from online questionnaire design through to moderating qualitative research and everything in between. You will be crucial to the day to day development of the department as both an internal and external ambassador and a man manager of junior staff in the department.
The department work across all main media channels while increasingly developing their offering across new and exciting channels as the agency needs to remain ahead of the market curve to offer their clients the edge in increasingly competitive markets. As such you will be confident in offering your clients the relevant insight across all these main channels, while also offering a variety of skills in terms of the research methodologies you are skilled in. You will also be well versed in commissioning research externally and will be able to drive relevant research and insight teams within media owner companies to ensure you are getting the most from them and they remain relevant to your client’s needs. As a crucial member of the team you will also be confident in demonstrating and driving the relevance with internal teams and will be confident in showcasing your worth in front of clients.
The scope for this role is vast and as such you will need to demonstrate solid research and insight skills across a number of areas as well as have the personal ability to approach research briefs in an ever creative fashion pulling on a number of resources. You will however be confident and comfortable with driving research at the coal face and fully prepared to roll up your sleeves to get involved and manage a number of personal projects.
It is anticipated that you will have gained experience from a similar media agency, a media owner or a research agency. You will have a solid grounding within the media market and be keen to work at the forefront of an ever developing agency in an ever changing market. You will have excellent communication and team development skills and be confident with being a core cog in the wheel of this great department and agency.
