 Senior Artworker – Leading Retail Marketing Agency – West End - £35K+

The Agency

A leading shopper marketing agency based in the heart of London’s West End is looking to hire a technically strong, production-savvy Senior Artworker for a permanent full time position in their Creative Studio.

The agency’s output spans predominantly retail-based solutions for a range of leading brands in the entertainment and leisure sectors as well as a host of FMCG and retail brands.

The Role

Reporting into the Head of Artwork, the Senior Artworker will act as a bridge between the creative studio and the production team.

The Senior Artworker will be working with cardboard engineers and structural designers on a daily basis

The Senior Artworker will be supporting the Head of Artwork, however he/she will be required to make key decisions/ manage work-flow when the group head is away.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have 3D POS experience, ideally coming from a production-facing background.  He/she may have started out in the repro department with exposure to print and production and then moved into an agency working as a Creative Artworker.

Esssential skills and experience for the Senior Artworker role include:

-        specialist technical knowledge in print  and production processes for POS items – event pieces, FSDUs, CDUs, Standees etc

-       Expert knowledge of producing press-ready artwork to ensure that creative concepts are realised fully.

-       Experience working to and manipulating CAD cutters

-       Specialist knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CS5 + fantastic retouching skills

-       Ability to inspire the team and help develop skills where necessary
