Dealer Marketing Manager - Cheshire

Our client is a leading global luxury car manufacturer and they are looking to recruit a high calibre dealer marketing manager to drive the business forward.

Main focus of the role is to ensure dealer marketing activity is planned, delivered and effectively analysed in line with prospect and sales targets.
Communication with dealers, regional Sales and Aftersales teams on a daily basis
Ensure the objectives of central and regional campaigns are reflected within the dealers marketing plans
Provide mentoring and creative support to dealer marketing and PR planning and execution
Enable the dealer network to develop aligned Digital, Media and Marketing strategies
Ensure regular reviews, planning reporting and measurement of dealer marketing plans take place, in conjunction with the regions Marketing head

The appointment (in conjunction with the regional Marketing head) of a dealer marketing agency , and the day to day management of that agency, to provide dealers with an appropriate marketing resource
Manage dealer support funding budgets to ensure best value and maximise dealer engagement
Management and maximise use of the regional fleet in dealer marketing plans
Plan and manage an annual dealer marketing forum to share knowledge and best practice from within the network and from competitors
Ensure that dealers operate within brand guidelines, in relation to all marketing activity

Key Responsibilities
Development of the annual dealer marketing and PR plans (in conjunction with Head of Marketing & Communication)
Development of dealer marketing campaigns supporting execution and follow up
Tactical marketing planning
New product launch planning (management of launch activities at dealer lever - launch tours)
Regular review and planning meetings with all regional dealers
Organise and manage regular analysis and reporting programme for all regional dealers
Ensure a process is in place for sharing best practice
Management of the regional dealer marketing support fund, and appointed agencies
Communication and administration of dealer marketing support fund
Management of Agency (weekly status meeting)
Regular briefing on regional and dealer needs
Development and production of dealer marketing tools
Budget control

Degree in marketing/business studies or equivalent
Microsoft Office skills
Language skills are desirable

Previous Experience
Ability to influence dealers and colleagues to meet deadlines
Understanding of customer and prospects
An understanding of the dealers skills and capabilities
Mentoring experience
Agency management experience
Fleet management experience
Negotiation and relationship building skills
Budget management skills and experience
Well-developed planning and project management skills
