Global Financial Services organisation requires an experienced Digital Designer to join their growing digital set-up.  This is a great chance to become part of the in-house digital media team, working as part of a team on projects, advising clients and implementing the best solutions to their e-media communication.

Within this role you will be producing creative, comprehensive graphics and design multimedia solutions that fit within the companies brand.  You will be comfortable working within corporate brand guidelines, whilst pushing the creative boundaries whenever possible.  We are looking for a talented Digital Designer who shares our ambitious plans now and for the future, ideally someone who is keen to develop your own skills and experiences.

The successful applicant will have intermediate coding skills and creative conceptual design to produce high-quality deliverables for the client, whilst you are required to have good Flash animation skills.  The in-house studio is open between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday, with various 8 hour shift patterns within these core hours: 8to4, 9to5, 10to6 etc.

Key tasks
■ Design and production of multimedia material including internal and external animations and elements for sites, multimedia projects – primarily e-learning material, digital event material for exhibition and conferences
■ Take briefs from clients whilst advising them on the best design, both aesthetically and for usability purposes for their piece of work within corporate guidelines
■ Project management, pre empting issues, coordinating project delivery
■ Excellent communication and organisational skills and a polite confident manner
■ Ensure all quality review checklists and processes are adhered to
■ Takes a collaborative approach
■ Follow document submission process in accordance with standards and protocols
■ Follow standards and digital guidelines for branded materials such as plasmas, flash elements and e-learning projects
■ Negotiate and manage deadlines
■ Educate and influence clients to choose effective and functional designs and deliverables within their timeframes
■ Keep abreast of e-media developments and bring new ideas to the team
■ Maintain awareness of ‘state of the art’ techniques, equipment, best practices and developments within the e-media community
■ Strong time management skills, the ability to juggle more than one project at a time
■ Excellent customer relationship management skills

Technical skills
Must have
■ Adobe Creative Suite 5 skills
■ Advance Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop
■ Lectora and e-learning background for design
■ Intermediate AS2, Dreamweaver, HTML and CSS
■ Knowledge of working with audio and video files

■ Adobe Premiere
■ AS3
■ After Effects
■ Understanding of Learning Management systems
