One of London's best known advertising agencies and arguably the most creative is looking for a Head of Project Management to run digital PM. A unique role to make your mark at an agency that requires digital processes to be in put in place and to continue the agency's excellent execution of digital campaigns.

Project Management is a relatively new department in the agency. The department needs to become the hub of the agency and as Head of Project Management for Interactive you will be intrinsic in making this happen. You will be a motivator of your team and lead by example. Not only will you make sure that projects are managed effectively and efficiently, but you will also strive for continual improvement in the department. You should be professional, inspirational, supportive and motivational to all disciplines across the agency.

Another pivotal part of your role will be to advise on and refine working methodologies and process that the agency uses. You should have experience on the most up-to-date processes and Agile-Lean methodologies.

You will also need to work very closely with the Director of Creative Technology and Chief Innovation Officer so your technical expertise and level of knowledge in terms of new and existing technologies must be of the highest standard.

Primary tasks and Responsibilities for Head of Project Management - Interactive

Responsibility for agency digital process
Maintain a close relationship with other Heads of Project Management/Production (Broadcast, Print) to ensure that the department is working effectively and efficiently
Mentor and provide pastoral support for your team
Line management of your team
Recruiting, inducting, leading, managing and developing project managers
Fostering a collaborative working style in the agency
Selection and management alongside Director of Creative Technology and Head of Art of 3rd party partners and suppliers
Regular assessment of 3rd party partners and suppliers to ensure level of service and value for money is maintained
Handling specific projects as and when needed
Running the weekly Interactive Project Management department workflow meeting
Working with PMs to ensure that the agency workflow list is complete, accurate and clearly communicates the status on each project, identifying issues and opportunities
Following up after workflow and status meetings to ensure that problems are resolved
Ensuring that all projects are effectively and efficiently managed from start to finish, maximising on-time and on-budget as well as creating the conditions for 'right first time'
Reviewing budgets and managing project profitability
Ensuring, with account management, that clients understand the advantages of our working process and how they can support it to benefit from successful projects
Solving problems before they become big problems
