Consumer Insights Manager / London / £60,000 per annum + substantial bonus and benefits

A large, independent FMCG business is seeking a Consumer Insights Manager to join their team and help them to develop their brand insight function. They own a variety of well-known brands within their sector, and have a highly collaborative corporate culture, recognising and rewarding their talent with excellent bonus and development opportunities.

This role will report into the business’ Innovation Director, and work across key stakeholders in Global and Local Marketing Teams, Planning, and agencies. The Consumer Insights Manager will take responsibility for delivering insights and information to the business, both consumer-led and otherwise, for the purposes of helping its brands grow and develop. The role will have responsibility for 3 main areas: the global Brand Tracker, commissioning of new ad hoc studies, advocacy of the use of insights within the business to drive strategy.

You will:

-          be degree educated, and ideally have a Masters in Marketing or a related topic, or an MBA

-          have deep expertise of consumer and market research across qualitative, quantitative and mixed methodologies

-          have a proven track record of success in managing research projects and delivering insights in the FMCG sector

It goes without saying that you will have excellent communication skills, and experience of working with drinks brands would be highly advantageous.
