Our Client, a leading sports equipment retailer with a growing e-commerce team, is currently searching for a German Speaking Online Marketing Executive to lead the fully transactional German language website.

The main prerequisite is that the successful candidate will obviously be fluent in German and English! Prior background in online marketing is essential, with a preference for this being gained in the retail sector. The Marketing Executive will have an all round experience of the online marketing mix including:

Email Marketing
Social Media

The successful Online Marketing Executive must have the ability to product copy to target different segments of the customer base; across multiple websites if required. By reviewing web conversion rates, the candidate will establish exactly what customers are responding to and where a different approach is needed. An keen eye for detail will mean you have a well-developed eye for grammatical, factual or formatting errors.

The Online Marketing Executive will:

-Assist the Online Marketing Manager and team in enhancing the online experience for our customers.
-Be responsible for creating, sending, tracking and collating results for email campaigns.
-Provide analytical insight to relevant stakeholders on the email marketing program.
-Constantly review competitor activity to evolve and improve the website and email campaigns.
-Support the management of affiliate/third party partnerships.
-Develop social media marketing by exploring new opportunities in the German market.

The Online Marketing Executive will be fluent in German and English and will ideally have:

-Experience editing and managing content on a commercial website.
-Experience of working on email marketing campaigns with a working knowledge of HTML for web and email marketing tools.
-Strong analytical skills.
-Previous experience of working within affiliate/third party partnerships marketing and social media marketing (desirable).
-Excellent attention to detail and communication skills (both written and oral).
-An interest in web developments and new technologies.
