Our Supporter Development team is one of eight teams within the Fundraising Division at BHF with an annual fundraising target of over £13m (contributing nearly 40% of the overall fundraising income of £35m).

As the Senior Direct Marketing Executive you'll be responsible for project managing an integrated acquisition direct marketing strategy. You'll work across the full marketing mix such as direct mail, digital, door drops, D2D, DRTV, inserts, online and telemarketing to ensure our acquisition activity is varied, robust and innovative. You will establish a comprehensive understanding of the department’s overall strategy and the different journeys, attitudes and stages of relationships our customers have with us. Taking advantage of any new developments at the BHF and in the sector you'll apply that customer insight in order to cost effectively grow our customer base and add value to existing fundraising campaigns and materials, ensuring our investment in them works as hard as possible.

As such you should possess extensive and demonstrable charity direct marketing experience. Experience of regular giving recruitment through telemarketing and door to door activity is essential with experience of private site activity preferable. You'll also be able to demonstrate experience of line management, managing expenditure budgets and multiple external agency relationships.
