Our client is a leader in the FMCG branded food world. Following the arrival of a new Chief Executive and a refocus on their core brands, this FMCG operator is now well positioned to achieve their plans for long term growth of some iconic UK brands. With a presence in over 90% of UK households, there exists an unswerving appetite for results, coupled with a genuine level of responsibility and autonomy that many marketers would give their right arm for!

Leading a small team, you will have ownership of a truly flagship brand. This will include full P&L management, as well as responsibility for developing short and medium term brand plans and strategies.

The focus of the role will include:

- Development & execution of advertising as well as leadership of the ad agency relationship
- Producing and managing promotional strategies, working closely with cross functional teams to ensure execution
- NPD Launches
- Having a strategic view and understanding of the category issues

You will have strong, proven experience with a blue chip/highly rated FMCG branded business in order to be considered for this position. To assist candidates in their application, highlighted below are the minimum requirements needed for the role:

- FMCG marketing experience, with impressive results gained in the UK multiple grocery channel
- Strategic marketing understanding, including brand positioning and segmentation work
- Development and delivery of branded marketing campaigns, including TV, press, outdoor (and ideally some digital)
- Successful NPD launches into the UK grocery market
- Proven experience of managing a brand/portfolio P&L
- Ideally food marketing experience but household/other UK grocery B2C may be considered
