Heart Disease is the UK's single biggest killer and for over 50 years the British Heart Foundation has tirelessly  pioneered research that has helped to transform the lives of people living with heart and circulatory conditions. Our strong and trusted brand inspires people to come to us for help, but also to help us by donating, supporting or volunteering.

As the BHF moves in to a new era with new leadership, we are looking to strengthen the focus for our brand so we can reach more people who need us and tell our brand story in a way that inspires people to get involved. To do this we need an ambitious brand executive who can help educate and motivate internal teams to live and breathe our brand messaging that will ultimately help the public have a clearer perception of the charity. Heart disease is no small matter, and we'll need a big-hearted person to join our fight.

As such you should have demonstrable brand experience in a large organisation, preferably within the charity sector. You'll have experience of producing branded communications as well as monitoring and reporting on brand performance and be confident managing budgets and deadlines. In addition you'll need excellent communication and influencing skills and a genuine passion for what we do.

N.B. This is a 12 month fixed term contract with an ideal start date of 04/03/2013
