If you have impressive experience of developing and managing a comprehensive communications and marketing plan and service, preferably in the charity sector, consider a move to Richmond Fellowship. As Communications & Marketing Manager your challenge will be to get our message out there and position us as a leading specialist provider within the mental health care sector.

After a very successful period of outsourcing, we’ve decided to further strengthen our Communications and Marketing activity by bringing this key role in-house to further align our brand and positioning with our corporate aims.

As Communications & Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Take on a role that’s a great mix of the strategic and the day-to-day
  • Establish a process to identify, generate and manage key corporate messages
  • Manage our website and social media communication and marketing activities
  • Maintain and develop brand consistency by managing external design professionals
  • Manage key contacts and networks in order to maximise the impact of our messages
  • Seek opportunities to influence at government and departmental level
  • Manage budgets and ensure value for money across the sourcing of all communications activities

To join us as Communications & Marketing Manager, you will need:

  • Proven relevant experience in the communications and marketing field
  • The ability to set out systems and processes and to prioritise and project manage multiple activities and timelines
  • Sound budget management skills, including the ability to negotiate effectively when buying communications materials or services
  • Confidence in communicating across all mediums and the ability to write on behalf of others
  • The credibility to liaise effectively with external bodies that include MPs and government
  • A reputation for being technically savvy, including a good understanding of social media
  • A flair for managing a range of external inputs and professional support contracts

Managing more than 120 services nationwide, Richmond Fellowship provides an immensely diverse range of services to people with mental health needs.

We offer great benefits, including 25 days’ holiday per year, contributory pension scheme, employee assistance programme and childcare vouchers.
