Digital Designer - Retail - 32k+ - Central London

This company is an exciting, world-class, growth organisation. The company sells affordable luxury items through social selling. This is the chance to join an intercontinental brand which has has been featured in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times and in countless fashion and business publications in the UK such as Grazia, InStyle and Vogue and Sunday Times.

This pivotal role will report into the Head of Marketing, Europe, and be instrumental in providing support and inspiration through the website to Stylists. This is a vital space to provide much-needed communication and business support tools. You will also be key in designing the look and feel of the public facing site, along with email and promotional material.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Layout and design of training and marketing tools, emails and web site, fliers and UK specific pieces
  • Continual maintenance of the UK website at all times
  • Bringing new creative media ideas to drive the business forward
  • Create professional graphics, images and designs for various print and online publications
  • Support the marketing team and other departments with specific projects
  • Work together with other departments and the marketing team on the inception and development of creative ideas and concepts for individual campaigns
  • Leverage and customize existing creative content for the markets

Education and Experience:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Art or related field, or equivalent field experience plus a minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design on client side and agency side
  • A good visual portfolio
  • Must be highly skilled in HTML5 and CSS use
  • Ideally needs a knowledge of javascript frameworks (iQuery specifically)
  • Familiarity with cross-platform and cross-barrier issues
  • Ability to hand-code standards compliant pages using table-less layouts from design mock-ups
  • CMS experience, wordpress, drupal and joomla etc
  • Must possess a high degree of proficiency with Adobe CS2, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Must have excellent graphic design, copywriting and project management skills to ensure assignments are completed professionally and promptly
