My client is a family-owned multi-national business that has been designing, developing and manufacturing dentist-recommended oral hygeine products for almost half a century, and first introduced them to the UK market in 1998.  

My client has an opportunity within the UK to recruit an Account Manager to look after the developing consumer market for specialist oral hygiene products in pharmacy and dental wholesale. Reporting to the UK Sales Manager you will be looking after predominantly pharmacy accounts such as Lloyd, Co-Op and other pharmacy chains and dental wholesalers. Key Responsibilities:

Driving Sales and Profit in the pharmacy and dental wholesale sector To prepare and implement detailed sales promotional plans to achieve agreed annual sales budgets. Ensure timely communication to and from the business in order to operate effectively and for the business to be kept up to date with customer feedback and competitor feedback. To undertake an other miscellaneous duty or activity or special projects when required to do so by the Sales Manager. Person:  The successful applicant needs to fit in and adapt to working in a small experienced team. Although lots of help and support is available the individual needs to be self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative.  This is a position for a competitive individual who consistently strives for personal, team and company success. My client needs someone who is a good communicator, flexible and ambitious who enjoys the quirky and entrepreneurial world of a small business that forms an integral part of an successful international company. The job will involve travel and the individual will be required to be flexible with their working hours and also to stay away from home if the need arises.


Must be a self motivated individual who is able to be proactive and take responsibility. Evidence of building rapport and relationships both internally and with external customers. Experience with face to face customer care is desirable.
