Group Brand Manager

Salary:  55K – 70K + Car Allowance, Bonus and Benefits

Location:  South East (commutable from Surrey, South London, Sussex, Kent)

As the Group Brand Manager you will take ownership of the marketing team (3 direct reports) and all aspects of marketing, PR and communications.

The key responsibilities will include:

  • Development of key annual brand planning and responsibility for communication and brand strategies
  • Development and launching of new products into the UK market
  • Management and regular reviews of existing product performance
  • Initiate and manage market research projects in order to deliver powerful consumer insights
  • Work closely with and support the National Sales team
  • You will own the brand P&L and be responsible for the financial targets
  • Working with and briefing external agencies
  • Managing and coaching a small team (3) of direct reports
  • Implementation and development of structured processes and procedures
  • NPD from concept to delivery
  • Control of a significant ABL budget
  • The Development of Profitable Trade Marketing plans 

What experience is necessary for this role:

  • Ability to take ownership / responsibility
  • Performance driven mentality
  • Excellent Brand Management experience gained within the OTC (over the counter medicines) or VMS (Vitamins, Mineral and Supplements) is essential
  • Strong knowledge and experience of the UK Market will also be essential
  • Expert exposure to managing ATL and BTL marketing and knowledge of grocery
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Strong consumer orientation, balanced with excellent commercial awareness
  • As the Group Brand Manager you will be an action orientated and energetic with a focused and pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • You will possess excellent leadership and management skills
