Sponsorship Account Director – F1 - Mat Cover - leading sports marketing agency - up to £55K

We are looking for a senior level Formula One expert with extensive F1 experience either from a sponsorship team or agency, to lead sponsorship activation and leverage the corporate partnership between this flagship client and F1 team.   It is a maternity cover role, starting at in January 2014.

This is a pivotal role for someone who has already established an excellent reputation and contacts within F1, enabling them to offer sound counsel and advice to their client as well as overseeing the direction and delivery of a full programme of sponsorship activity.  Strong internal communications skills are also crucial in order to inform, include and share opportunities with the wider client business. 

You will be planning and delivering the strategic partnership programme, developing hospitality programmes and assisting with all media and PR opportunities.  It will also be your responsibility to coordinate a wider programme of marketing activity to support the F1 sponsorship.

It goes without saying that international travel is a significant part of this role, but this is probably something you are already used to and enjoy in your current position.  We’ll want to hear how you have led a team, the senior level contacts you have and how you have established your reputation as a trusted Formula One expert.
