(Nakama) One of our exclusive clients in Old Street, London has a new opening due to new work and agency growth. This is a 35 person privately owned integrated marketing and events agency, who are delivering full creative, digital and branding strategy for a number of world renowned entertainment, arts and technology brands. The team is hard working, fun and friendly, and everyone up to the MD are hands on, committed, passionate about the success of the business.

This is a unique opportunity be the first formal studio and traffic manager. Your time will be split roughly 60% project management and creative producing to 40% resource and studio planning. The design team includes 5 talented print, web and video specialists at various levels and you would be responsible for booking and briefing in additional freelance resource too.

Attitude and fit are as important as experience for this hire. You must be degree educated with agency experience in a similar role. The right candidate must be malleable and flexible, happy to take elements of projects not on the job spec, like client facing when need be. You will work closely with senior people in the agency, so must have a quiet confidence and aptitude to think for yourself and speak up when necessary.

This is a very exciting role at the stage the agency is at – the studio will only grow and this hire carves a very essential production/project management function from the ground up. Key responsibilities:
Co-ordinate timely flow of work between departments
Project management of assigned print, video and web design projects
Financial, resource and project reporting
Provide work orders for creative staff and production studio (resource schedule)
Support MD, lead client services personnel in ensuring quality of delivery and improving process as things grow.
