An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Executive to support the existing Marketing team on delivering two key events in the Aerospace Portfolio

This is an ideal role for an experienced marketing person who can create and deliver effective marketing campaigns for this portfolio of shows. The ability to plan, prioritise and schedule a varied workload is very important to this role.

Key responsibilities:

• Planning, co-ordinating and implementing exhibitor, visitor and VIP communication campaigns (on and offline)
• Manage the ongoing development of the shows’ websites and other new media marketing campaigns
• Maintaining and developing relationships with key suppliers and media partners
• Sourcing content for communications
• Contributing to design agency briefings and production including copywriting, print production & artwork
• Liaising with internal and external suppliers including design teams, mailing houses, printers, the PR team, e-marketing department, customer services, information & data team, accounts department
• Co-ordinating visitor and exhibitor registration process with a third party supplier
• Controlling costs against budget, raising purchase orders, maintaining marketing budget trackers
• Analysing and tracking online & offline campaigns
• Researching and fulfilling contra agreements and executing domestic and international advertising campaigns
• Planning and implementing the promotional campaign, including direct mail, email, social media, mobile platform and face to face networking events
• Research (Exhibitor and Visitor) - involvement in compilation and distribution of surveys
• Manage the fulfilment of sponsorship contracts, including liaising with the sponsor on deadlines, artwork specifications and creative

Ideal candidate profile:

• Good multi tasking skills and ability to prioritise
• Ability to meet deadlines within budget and under pressure
• Strong time and project management skills
• Excellent copywriting and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong experience in online and offline direct marketing
• Strong marketing experience at a Marketing Executive level
• Experience in a publishing / event / exhibition background would be an advantage
• Online content management / web skills an advantage
• Experience in digital and social media marketing an advantage
• Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office applications
