London-based full service film marketing agency.
My client is looking for a Junior/Mid-Weight Print
Designer with creative flair and passion for design to join their busy creative print design team.
Working with clients across the home entertainment, theatrical film and comedy industries, they
are looking for a team player with a strong portfolio that demonstrates a wealth of experience
in designing for print projects, with experience across a variety of styles of design to cater to
our different client requirements.

The Role
As the Mid-Weight/Senior Print Designer, you will be required to provide new and innovative designs to meet our clients briefs. Your main design duties will be to develop from scratch, or existing templates, print and online designs and concepts to meet client briefs. Reporting to the Head of Design, you will help to push beyond client expectations to maintain our clients high degree of professional service; delivering outstanding creative results to ensure they stay ahead in the competitive marketplace. You will be a creative and expressive team player who understands the unique challenges of working in-house with a small but highly productive team dealing with demanding clients in a fast-paced working environment. You will be required to work with our clients in-house Artworker who will support you in your work. The ability to liaise well with our in-house production managers is also essential as they monitor the progress of all Creative work and are the conduit to all clients within the Creative department. You will also be required to work alongside the PR and AV teams to complete other ancillary design pieces as and when required.

Job Details
You will be working on various types of Print Design, including but not limited to:

*Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts to fit the overall brief
*Adapting and creating from scratch:
oFilm Keyart
oCinema Quad Posters and DVD Sleeve origination and localisation
oPress & Online Advertisements
oRetail and Campaign branded material
oTrade and PR Communication Literature
oIn store marketing materials
oDesign of AV graphics look and feels as and when required
oLogo and brand design / corporate identity
oCreation of style guides
*Assisting in the design for the other departments, online, TV & motion GFX
*Estimating the time required to complete work
*Preparing work to a print ready standard

General Role Requirements
*Ability to communicate quickly and effective
*Ability to understand briefs and be able to develop creative ideas from them
*Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure
*Able to change between projects while remaining focused

Key Skills
*A good amount of commercial experience in graphic design and web-based / digital design
*Beautiful Typography and good Typesetting skills
*Must have extensive experience of Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
*Illustration skills will be a welcome bonus
*Experience working on print ready files for magazines and newspapers
*The ability to produce and proof print-ready artwork
*A sound appreciation of colour and layout
*Must have genuine creative flair and meticulous attention to detail
*The capability to organise, prioritise and meet deadlines
*Confident working with people at all levels
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills
*Enthusiasm, dedication and willingness to work hard
