Account Manager [Charity Clients] – Top 5 Agency – Central London – to £30k

Excellent, multi-award winning central London shop seeks a talented Account Manager to work on two not-for-profit accounts.

The Opportunity

The role will suit a junior to mid-level Account Manager looking for a new and exciting challenge, who is keen to consolidate their existing account management skills in a dynamic agency environment.

The agency need someone who can hit the ground running on their own initiative and who is also a team player with excellent communication skills.

The Accounts & Team Structure

The role will be split across two different charity accounts.

The position reports directly to a Senior Account Manager.  The successful candidate will work within an Account team of 3 people and work closely with the media department, production and creative teams.

The Account Manager will be managing campaign implementation, from brief through creative development. They will also play a key role in the print and production process. In addition they will need to ensure campaigns are delivered against target/ estimate.

The first account is a long-standing and important agency client. Since 2004, the agency has managed the acquisition activity. It is a complex multi-million, multiple channel programme, and they are responsible for all direct response recruitment activity. From developing the strategy and creative to buying the media, monitoring results and developing test and learn strategies to continually enhance and improve the programme. It is a fantastic charity, with a huge range of services, at the heart of which is a body of volunteers who risk their lives to save people.

The second account is an internationally-known charity with whom the agency has been working for the last 3 years. They are at the cutting edge of health and innovation and strive for excellence and always put ‘the child first and always’. Their comms are centered on very emotional and engaging propositions. The agency’s role is primarily around creative strategies, but also includes some data analysis and segmentation activity.

What the agency are looking for:

  • 2 years' solid agency work experience
  • A good understanding of direct and digital marketing (inc. Media, Production and Results analysis)
  • Evidence of strong project management capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Experienced in the creative and production process, able to challenge ideas and thinking
  • Diplomacy in dealing with clients and internal agency contacts
  • Previous charity experience preferred but not essential
