An exciting opportunity for a PR Manager has arisen for a major Real Estate Investment Trust that owns and operates an extensive portfolio of shopping centres across the UK.

Reporting to the Communications Director we are looking for an experienced PR Manager to work with the Communications Director to develop a commercially focused, full-year PR plan based on the Communications strategy which is based on commercial drivers.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in being the main point of contact for trade and national media. You will be required to respond quickly and accurately, focusing on top-tier media and be able to set up and maintain a database of key media contacts.

You will cultivate strong relationships with top-tier trade, business and consumer media as well as local media where required. Execute a regular meetings programme to ensure that the organisation is understood and remains top of mind for areas of strategic focus. Proactively work up ideas with and for media and pitch news stories.

It is essential that you have Online PR and Social Media experience: Work in partnership with the Communications Manager to deliver a content management plan for the group website, Twitter, Linked in etc and to identify opportunities and deliver content for third party digital channels such as online trade publications

You will be well versed in providing business wide support for issue and crisis communications to include fact gathering, creation of reactive media statements, field incoming media requests.

As the PR Manager you will Manage and create press kit materials, including press releases, fact sheets, bios and imagery. Prepare briefing materials and messaging/positioning documents in preparation for media interviews. You will provide copywriting support to the wider business and organise and execute press visits to shopping centres.
