The Marketing Manager will be a proven marketing professional, ideally bringing seasoned best practise and techniques and mapping them onto a smaller business with exceptional potential in their market. The ideal candidate will be used to a fast paced, driven environment with multi-channel customer generation focus.

The core responsibilities will be;

Daily tasks and duties - general
-Monitoring and analysing market trends
-Studying and reporting on competitors' marketing activity and products
-Exploring ways of promoting range of services and increasing profitability
-Identifying target markets and developing strategies to communicate with them
-Managing the production of promotional material
-Liaising with other internal departments such as sales and distribution
-Producing reports to monitor results
-Presenting findings and suggestions to company directors or other senior managers


Brand strategy / activity
-Reviewing and evolving brand strategy
-Preparing and managing marketing plans and budgets
-Planning, developing and implementing offline brand campaigns
-Development of marketing literature relating to customer fulfilment
-Development of new brand assets (video / infographics etc)
-Act as brand guardian (reviewing creative aspects of all activity - Online campaigns / website / social media activity)

Offline campaign activity
-Planning and implementing quarterly integrated campaigns to drive enquiries into the business
-Co-ordinate and implement support campaigns for events (email / text / PPS / media)
-Build relationships and good rapport with managers



Social Media
-Developing social strategy for the brand
-Developing content plan (based on quarterly campaign activity and brand messaging)
-Daily checking and responses on company's social media channels
-Circulating weekly reports to department (data, trends, success / learnings)
-Ensure the right message is delivered online, helping people, stimulating discussions, encouraging positive debate etc 'think on your feet' real time content writing, online discussion, interactions etc.

Experience
-Strong marketing experience (ideally with experience in B2B/IT Services)
-Good understanding of all marketing disciplines including advertising, direct marketing, CRM, PR, digital and social media
-Good knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts
-Ability to formulate strategies and write proposals
-Ability to write marketing reports and updates
-Experience of managing external agencies
-Ability to develop, implement and analysis marketing campaigns that deliver results
-Analysing, interpreting and presenting results
-Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive projects and campaign activity
-Excellent writing skills, communication and grammar
-Must be numerate and commercially aware
