We are looking to recruit an email marketing executive with a primary purpose to increase the online profile of the company's brand in the UK and consequently increase traffic onto the website. The successful candidate will be expected to implement and roll-out the email plan and maximise the use of email marketing to drive leads and engagement with our target audiences.

Candidate Profile
  • Graduate with a marketing degree or equivalent qualification
  • At least 2 years' experience working in email marketing
  • Attention to detail/accuracy

  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills

  • Good Presentation Skills
  • Flexibility
  • Articulate
  • Good IT skills in Excel, Word and working knowledge of HTML
  • Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard of work

Key Performance indicators:
  • To generate a significant increase in leads for each business line through e-mail marketing
  • To plan and implement a new email marketing strategy focussed on delivering measurable results.
  • To explore new and develop existing email and online opportunities to raise Randstad's profile in the UK and measure associated RoI

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist each of the business lines to implement a strong e-mail marketing plan and campaigns to keep the brand top-of-mind with existing and prospective clients and ensure regular, consistent and high quality communications

* Work closely with sector marketing managers to deliver their email requirements and ensure maximum return on investment by managing relationships with email agency day to day

* Work closely with content and design teams to manage the email planning calendar

* Manage the uploading of data and sending processes of all marketing emails within the email system and implement and manage A/B email tests

* Conduct quarterly email RoI analysis

* Request and segment company data and manage the production of key monthly email performance reports utilising Google Analytics and present these to the management team

* Ensure measurement and improvement of all key email metrics and make recommendations for email improvements as necessary

* To be a proactive member of the marketing and communications team and assist others at times of heavy workload

Skills and Competencies:
  • Passion for e-marketing coupled with a desire to learn more about this exciting marketing arena
  • Solid experience in creating, testing and reporting on lead generation, awareness and nurturing email marketing campaigns
  • Excellent copywriting and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, creative, fast learner, ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment and with a dynamic marketing team
