Group Account Director [CRM/eCRM] – Central London Agency – £65-75k

Superb, multi-award winning agency seeks a Group Account Director to work on an iconic account.

Reason for Recruitment

This is a new Group Account Director position that has come about as a result of a new business win. It is a huge opportunity to work on a challenger brand and act as business leader to establish and grow the account.

Reporting and Context

The Group Account Director position reports directly to the Managing Director and the role would be a high profile one working within a senior team to deliver on a range of eCRM projects.

The structure on the account and requirements are still being fully established however the team is likely to comprise of this role, a Project Manager, an Operations Manager a Data Planning Director, Senior Data Planner, Data Analyst, Head of Planning, Planner, Head of Customer Experience, creative team etc.

The initial emphasis is working with the team to establish the agency’s credibility by delivering on key milestones and working with other agency partners to drive great results through email/mobile campaigns.

Main Responsibilities of the Group Account Director Role

 Build a strong relationship with key clients acting as business lead for the account and ensuring deliverables/milestones are exceeded and that client satisfaction is high

 To deliver on financial targets, income and profitability measures

 To be visionary and creative and inspire the client with ideas to make a difference to their brand and results

 Lead the agency team and ensure collaboration with other agency partners

Technical Skills / Experience Required

The Group Account Director needs to have experience of eCRM programmes and be able to demonstrate a strong business head.

The Group Account Director will ideally also have some experience of working on a challenger brand or an account which they have grown substantially through their entrepreneurial flair, creative ideas and strong commercial acumen.

The Group Account Director will have built strong relationships at all levels of client seniority. A familiarity and comfort with data is also essential in order that they not be fazed by it, however, it’s not necessary to be hands on in this area.

The account is very fast paced and therefore experience of multi-tasking across a large number of projects and deliverables at any one time is essential experience for the role.

It would be desirable if the Group Account Director has an interest in insurance services/products if not direct experience within financial services or related business.

 Some knowledge of eCRM and the role of data and analytics in that context
