The candidate will work within a fast paced, fun and collaborative team creating and delivering acquisition campaigns for - one of the most successful and powerful marketing organisations in the UK. The role will involve using the full range of channels including National Press, Direct Response TV campaigns, Direct Mail and targeted door drops. There is also the opportunity for digital display, rich media, social and email campaigns as a developing area for the team. The work is results driven and direct.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing campaign plans, client feedback, internal creative processes and maintaining control over expenditure to ensure delivery of plans on budget within timescale.

The ideal candidate will be pro-active and organised with a proven track record of translating product propositions into effective marketing materials/advertising messages.
We would like some Direct Mail experience, with the ability to partner the Client in developing an effective Direct Mail plan. A working knowledge of data sources, test planning and results analysis will be key.

Attention to detail and accuracy is imperative as well as the ability to work closely with clients and take responsibility for projects.

*Develop solid business relationships with clients through regular and pro-active contact
*Directs activity on assigned projects, keeping clients informed of account direction and maintaining forward momentum on projects
*Determine how best the client's brief can be met with consultation of the Account Director
*Become the team expert on Direct Mail and Door Drops, ensuring all results, research and insights are interpreted, disseminated and kept centrally for planning purposes.
*Liaise closely with the planning team to understand the competitive environment
*Encourage creative to develop work in line with required strategic direction
*Effectively presents agency work/proposals to clients and supports other team members
*Coordinate project timings and budgets with all relevant agency personnel and provides clients with time line and budget updates
*Checks and approves creative/production materials, copy, layouts and production art to ensure they are in line with client and agency expectations and coordinates approval of same
*Monitor work flow through the team and make recommendations for modifications where appropriate
*Actively contribute to all meetings attended, with support from the Account Director, both internally and externally
*Attend regular client status/monthly meetings and review both status and contact reports
*Handles other paperwork associated with account and job functions

Personal specification

*Graduate calibre with min 2 years agency experience
*Excellent understanding of the agency/creative/production processes
*Experience of managing Financials across multiple projects
*Effective project manager and ability to delegate as required
*Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
*Excellent influencing and negotiation skills
*Confident and self-motivated
*Tact, diplomacy, maturity in relating and interacting with people at all levels
*Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
