The role

As Comms Planning Associate Director you will be responsible for the overall delivery of your client's media planning activity. This role requires a combination of strong strategic and client servicing skills with the ability to lead and inspire a multifunctional team to deliver brilliant work. You should be viewed as a Director in waiting, both internally and externally, and be actively involved in the future of the company. You will be working on one of the Agency's largest and most important clients-an automotive client, both within the UK and across the world. This media agency has been their key strategic partner for over 13 years, a period during which they have delivered some of the most memorable and effective communications ever seen within the automotive category. You will lead a team consisting of planning managers, senior planners and planners and will decide team objectives, career paths and training needs. You responsibilities will include:

-Playing a key role in the delivery of your client's annual planning process
-Supporting Board Director in managing the team P&L, with responsibility for seeking out and delivering new revenue opportunities
-Being passionate and interested in both the media industry and automotive category, and have a desire to test and learn new things

Your profile

The successful candidate will currently be a senior media manager ready for the next step up or will be a planning director seeking a new challenge. You will have proven your ability to write strong strategy papers and will be used to dealing with senior clients. Strong planning skills and a knowledge of all media are key to be successful in this role.
