Business Development Manager
Legal Services - Liverpool

Due to a sustained profitability and an ambitious growth plan this exciting and innovative legal services firm are looking to recruit a Business Development Manager for their Liverpool office.
As BDM you will provide practical Business Development advice and support to the Liverpool Office, You will also be responsible for identifying and developing opportunities for new work, whether that be from new prospects in existing sectors, or new market sectors. You will lead the delivery of and tracking of Sector Plans, Sector meetings and reporting on all areas covered in the sector plans to support client attraction, acquisition and retention strategies.

Key responsibilities
Supporting the Business Development activity for the teams in Liverpool. Advising on and implementing all business development activities :
oPreparation of business plan
oResearching clients and markets
oNew Product Development
oEvaluating business development opportunities
oTargeting new clients
oIdentifying growth opportunities within existing clients and market sectors
oFocusing on the most profitable opportunities
Work closely with the Tender Managers on producing tenders, pitches and presentations being led from London.

Key skills & experience
A minimum of 5 years business development experience in a business to business services environment, including a minimum of two years in professional services.
Strong analytical skills. Commercially aware and astute.
Proven experience of managing tenders and proposals.
