We are currently recruiting for a great role at one of the country’s leading independent media agencies, one of the biggest success stories over the past ten years. Currently they have 80 members of staff, and have seen huge growth over the last few years. Their success has attracted accolades from both Campaign and Marketing Magazine, working with an impressive client list which is increasing rapidly with a host of new business wins this year.
The agency have a unique way of working with their clients and this demonstrated in their planning and buying campaigns. Having an open structure within the office allows and encourages personal development through early client contact, team work/ training and exposure to all media from day 1.
We are recruiting for an experienced account director to join their growing team. This is a prestigious role within the agency as the candidate will be responsible for heading up the biggest billing vertical working across clients within Travel, Retail and Fashion. Key responsibilities for this role are:
Being the first point of call for clients, from dealing with day to day requests to taking and answering full complex media briefs
Briefing and managing internal teams to deliver on client requirements across the business
Identifying key opportunities and areas of growth for the client
Managing relationships with senior media owners, making sure all campaigns are delivered to the highest possible standard
Support on new business pitches and source new business potential
To be considered for this opportunity, you will already be working in a media agency at senior manager or director level. Be a fully integrated media planner with experience planning across all channels. You will ideally have a background of strategic planning and be able to get a deeper understanding of solving bigger business challenges. Good understanding of campaign management tools used including; Symosos, Google Analytics and AdDynamix.
