£50,000 - £55,000 + car allowance



This highly operational customer marketing opportunity, with Northern European scope, is perfect for the person who thrives on managing a team, stakeholder management and activation.  It will also be the ideal role for a high potential individual looking to progress their career internationally as it is expected you’ll move to another country within 18-24mths to ensure continued momentum of your career towards Marketing Director level.  Leading a team of 3 managers, the Customer Marketing Manager is the lead role in this dynamic, commercially led FMCG marketing team.  You will be responsible for the operational management of two categories, with a combined RSV worth over £100m, and the in-store marketing budget.  Success in this role will be your ability to partner the UK sales and Northern European customer marketing teams to identify and agree customer insights and priorities.  The Customer Marketing role responsibilities are varied and, along with your team, you will be responsible for launch plans (development and external presentation), trade spend allocation, brand health tracking, sku optimisation, special packs, distribution targets, POS development and the management of merchandisers.  Our client is a business looking to promote and retain talent, therefore, you will be expected to coach and develop your team and as well as focusing on your own personal objectives.

Our Ideal Candidate

Top talent and international mobility is mandatory, as is a solid commercial background, (ideally a combination of sales and marketing) gained within grocery FMCG for another blue chip manufacturer.  You will be a team player with strong communication and stakeholder management skills; team management experience is also important.  We also seek someone with a proven track record in delivering business results and the ability to manage these results with a high degree of initiative and speed.  Finally, the ideal candidate will possess solid analytical skills and be experienced in using continuous data; you will also have the ability to think strategically and be someone with strong people management, coaching and team building experience.
