Launched earlier this year, the PPA Advertising Awards were created to celebrate the advertising planning and execution within the magazine brands and platforms available from the UK's professional publishers.

They proved very popular with the industry and received more than 60 entries across all five categories.

A team of expert industry judges met last week to discuss the entries and create the following shortlist, which is dominated by Group M's agencies.

The awards ceremony will take place on 11 October at the OXO2 on London's South Bank.

Entry to the event is by invitation only.
